Business women working in trades traditionally occupied by men are the real MUSE or Unique Models of Success and Entrepreneurship.
If you are holding this guide, it is because you are daring to take an adventure to the mysterious world of MUSE by creating a business in a traditionally male sector. We know that on the road to success there will be challenges that you will have to overcome, which is why we have created this guide. It is designed to support you throughout your journey by providing you with resources, contacts and useful tips just for MUSE apprentices like you.
More specifically, the mandate was to:
- Educate women on entrepreneurship in traditionally male fields.
- Identify local successful business women.
- Distribute the guide to different organizations in the region.
As Fonds d’Emprunt des Laurentides, the organization in charge of the project, we strongly believe that society has everything to gain by developing women’s entrepreneurship in the trades of the future that traditionally would have been occupied by men. Go ahead, be adventurous!
